We are stronger 2GETHA

We are stronger 2GETHA

Born from a desire to bring local Christians in Launceston together to provide a fun experience for young people during the school holidays, SU Australia launched 2GETHA in partnership with Door of Hope Christian Church and Launceston City Mission last October.

The event was such a success last year, the team decided to run it again over the Easter holidays, with Door of Hope generously hosting the event, says SU Australia Tasmania North Field Development Manager, Matt.

“We had an extended age range from 12 to 25 years old and a great mix of people who were connected to all three ministries. They were treated to two hours of games and snacks, and we also had the opportunity to share with participants some information about our various ministries and the programs we run for young people,” recalls Matt.

“One of the participants, who has been heavily involved in SU camps, was going around encouraging everyone to SUPA and SUPA & Beyond. It was amazing to see his enthusiasm and we hope to see the fruits of that in future months,” he adds.

It’s a big mission to reach every child, young person and family with God’s love, hope and good news, and one we cannot do alone. As we partner with other Christian organisations, and amazing friends like you who make ministries like 2getha possible, we can do so much more.
