SUPA ministries in Yorke are multiplying

SUPA ministries in Yorke are multiplying

Thanks to your prayers and support, our SUPA events across South Australia, including in the Yorke Peninsula, keep growing despite the challenges of the past year, says SU Australia Regional Manager, Chris Battistuzzi.

“After a great kick-off in 2021 with our 3-day SUPA Sports Day Camp, the team had to cancel our first planned event this year due to COVID. But the team was determined to keep growing the outreach to local kids and families,” he says.

And God has honoured the team’s determination, growing a single event into three – SUPA Sports
Day Camp, SUPA Day Out and SUPA Arvo!

At our SUPA Day Out in July, we were blessed by a team of volunteers representing five local churches as we hosted 37 children who enjoyed fun games, crafts, cooking and more.

SU Australia Ministry Catalyst Dianne Kenyon led the Bible teaching times where the children learned about Jesus.

It was a special time, says Chris.

“Not only is this an exciting new outreach on Yorkes, but it is opening the door for new approaches to SU working with local churches to reach local kids and families.”

Thank you for your support in making this ministry possible. Please continue to uphold these ministries in prayer.
