Our commitment to the safety of children and young people

At SU Australia, we believe every child and young person has the right to feel and be safe, respected, and supported. We have zero tolerance for any form of abuse or exploitation.

We are fully committed to the physical, emotional, social and spiritual safety and wellbeing of all children and young people in our care. This commitment is reflected in our policies, procedures and everyday practices.

All staff and volunteers are thoroughly trained to understand their responsibilities, to remain alert to signs of harm, and to take prompt, appropriate action when concerns arise. We report all incidents or suspicions of abuse in accordance with Australian laws and child protection standards.

We are dedicated to building and maintaining a culture where children and young people are protected, valued, and empowered to thrive.
