Jesus is King at SUPA Sports
Seventeen primary-aged campers joined in this year’s SUPA Sports Day Camp, which was held over four days during the last school holidays.
Not only did campers enjoy four days of rugby, cricket, soccer and ultimate frisbee, they listened to some inspirational discussions held by our SU volunteers and camp directors on the topic of Jesus is King.
For SU Australia Camp and Holiday Program Coordinator, Amy this year’s camp was extra special thanks to its two new volunteer directors, John and Tom.
“They did an outstanding job. It was so encouraging to see the kids enjoy sport in a way that was not super competitive, but just a lot of fun. For some of the kids, they were able to learn more about the different sports, and because of the welcoming environment everyone was able to jump in with both feet,” says Amy.
Thanks to your support, children and young people across the ACT and around our nation are able to experience the good news of God’s love through programs like SUPA Sports and more. To keep this vital work going and growing for future generations, visit suact.org.au/donate.
