Testimonies from Bremer Bay
God was certainly at work at this year’s Bremer Bay Beach Mission.
Some children whose parents worked at the caravan park where the beach mission was held this year came along to the programs. Many of them had never heard about Jesus, says SU Australia Missions Coordinator, Paul.
“One parent shared with the team how much her daughter loved learning about Jesus, and that she wanted to visit our church when they next visit Perth,” he says.
Another great testimony was of James*, a young man entering year 12 this year. James doesn’t come from a Christian family, but had attended the Bremer Bay Beach Mission as a young child.
“His family had returned to Bremer Bay for a fishing holiday this year after a few years of not coming. At the start of ‘Teen Time’, James walked over to our registration desk and asked to join in because he had such fond memories of beach missions as a child on holidays,” shares Paul.
James engaged in Bible studies and was even keen to be linked in with the university Christian Union and other Christian camps. He also asked for recommendations for local churches he could attend in his hometown of Bunbury.
“God has been doing a great work in James,” says Paul.
Thank you for all you do to make ministries like Bremer Bay Beach Mission possible. It’s your prayers and support that means more young people like James are experiencing life-transforming encounters with Jesus.
