In Tasmania, SU Australia works alongside churches and communities to give children, young people and their families opportunities to discover life in God’s big story. We have worked in Tasmania for almost 60 years and are present in over 30 localities stretching from Smithton in the North West to Woodbridge in the South.

Our Field Team in TASMANIA

The field team leads the local delivery of SU ministry opportunities through camps, missions, chaplaincy and more.

This team is supported by a broader network of national SU Australia staff and volunteers located in Tasmania and across Australia.

Stephanie S

Area Manager, Tasmania

 

Stephanie is Area Manager for SU in Tasmania and is based in Launceston. Having started with SU in 2011, Stephanie has worked in camp ministries, holiday clubs and over 30 state schools in chaplaincy services. As part of her role as SU’s Area Manager for Tasmania, she oversees Emerge, a leadership, spiritual and personal development program for young people aged 15 – 25. She has a passion for SU because she believes that together we can make a difference in children’s and young people’s lives. Stephanie holds qualifications in teaching, architecture and journalism, loves the outdoors and is an avid reader.

John M

Regional Director - Southern

John is our Regional Director for Southern Australia, which includes Tasmania. John leads the rest of the local field team to facilitate the local delivery of SU ministry opportunities through camps, missions, chaplaincy and more.

This team is supported by a broader network of national SU Australia staff and volunteers located in TAS and across Australia.

Bushwalking ADVENTURES – BOOTS N’ ALL

Fun and walks for all ages and abilities!

Boots N’ All was established by Scripture Union Tasmania in 1981 and offers people of all ages and abilities in Tasmania opportunities to share together in a range of outdoor activities led by experienced Christian walkers. We would be pleased if you could tell others of these walks. Subject to safety and equipment requirements, activities are open to all.
