Riverbend Park Games 2025

Riverbend Park Games 2025

SU Kids Games is a game changer when it comes to building really healthy relationships, positive role modelling, exciting physical exercise, and having an opportunity to get to know Jesus as our closest friend.

After having run SU Kids Games for a couple of years at Heritage Forest in summer and the gym at Ravenswood Primary School in winter, the brand new, revamped, even more exciting SU Kids Games are back since the beginning of the school year at Riverbend Park in Launceston. The games run straight after school on Friday afternoons!

In week one, while playing soccer, parachute and card games, our team was able to help kids work through arguments and disagreements during the games. At the same time, other team members chatted with the parents, learning a little about some of their challenging life stories and providing emotional support.

Over the weeks, the children’s smiles grew wider, and families began to build a little community with new people passing by and dropping in on a weekly basis.

SU Kids Games is such a simple yet effective opportunity to be a good neighbour and the hands and feet of Jesus, especially to families who are hurting in our community.
