Wild Camp is a 7 day expedition style hiking program in the Walpole Wilderness Area. The program involves a continuous journey on tracks and trails, exploring forests, beaches and granite peaks on the beautiful South Coast of WA. We will spend time exploring and explaining our Christian faith, and inviting participants to consider their inner journey.

Program highlights include the spectacular views from Long Point and Mt Hopkins, tucked away beaches with crashing waves, the beauty of the Karri Forests and opportunity to walk and camp where few others go. We start with a night in cabins at Crystal Springs, and we finish with a boat cruise and celebration dinner.

Wild Camp suits adventurers willing to ‘rough it’. We offer streams to wash in, simple meals cooked together in hiking stoves, and million star accommodation in a hiking tent. There are no showers, no shops, no devices and at some locations you will dig an eco-friendly bush toilet. We are very happy to teach you all the hiking, camping and cooking skills you will need, as long as you are up for the challenge, and can carry a 10-12kg backpack for around 5 hours a day.

The camp fee includes all meals (self-catering hiking meals), the boat cruise, hiking specifically equipment and loaned pack, tent and basic sleeping mat if required. Participants will receive a packing list and set of recommendations for hiking-specific equipment such as footwear, rainwear and layered clothing for warmth.

Wild Camp has experienced and suitably qualified leaders, and operates with extensive safety planning in place.
