CHAT is an acronym for Cultural. Hearing . Asking . Telling.
CHAT Camp is a four day program built to encourage and teach us how to have respectful and curious conversations with people different to us.
Enjoy yummy food, sport, basketball, dance and drama, play drums, make new friends, experience our ‘MasterChef’ segment, win prizes and share the experience of different cultures whilst we learn how to converse respectfully and have curiosity towards one another instead of judgement. Values such as ‘Treat others the way you’d like to be treated’ are encouraged..
Each day builds on the last, so please try your best to be there every day!
Plus families are invited on the last day’s afternoon to a performance by the participants, sideshow Alley Carnival games and a sausage sizzle! (If participants don’t wish to perform, they can have another job.)
