Chappy Campout is an overnight campout at the Pallara State School for students of Pallara State School and their parents/guardians.

Students and their parent/guardians bring their own tent to camp on the school grounds together, complete some fun activities (Scavenger hunt + rock climbing wall), and eat some meals together with others from the school community.

A Fun campout with Food, Friends, Family & Firepits! Come along and meet other families in the school community!

Any questions, please email Pallarachappyteam@gmail.com

Important Registration Information:

  • A family group needs to contain a minimum of 2 attendees, one of which must be an adult or guardian who is capable of offering adequate supervision.
  • The cost for each attendee is $20 (same cost for adults and children).
  • The camp is only available to children who are students of Pallara State School and their parents or guardians (other younger or older children (e.g. siblings) are not able to attend – this is for safety surrounding our age-appropriate activities)
  • You are required to bring your own tent camping setup to sleep overnight at the school. Caravans, campervans, and other non-tent setups are not allowed on the school premises during this camp for safety reasons.

Camp Disclaimer

Campout is a Pallara State School Chaplaincy Event overseen by Scripture Union Australia. It is an alcohol-free event. While measures are in place to ensure a safe and fun environment for the duration of the camp, it is expected that each parent/carer is responsible for their own safety, and that of their own children, and their own belongings. It is also important to consider and respect other participants in this event to ensure that everyone has a safe and enjoyable time together.

In the event of wet weather, all efforts will be made by organisers to proceed with a fun and safe campout at school prior to canceling the event.

I understand that tickets are non-refundable unless the camp is canceled by organisers.

To ensure everyone’s safety, only registered campers and volunteers can be onsite during the campout. No visitors (adults or children) are permitted within the school grounds for the duration of the camp.
