THE TIME OF YOUR LIFE!

Since the 1930s SU has been running camps in Australia that offer a safe, inclusive and action-packed experience for young people to discover life in God’s big story.
Whether you love scaling a cliff face and tubing behind a boat, or you dance, art and drama, or even if new technologies are more your thing, SU Australia’s camping ministry offers hundreds of experiences each year to cater to all interests.
All of our camps include opportunities to explore the Christian faith, where young people will find an open and inclusive atmosphere no matter their background.

OUR CAMPSITES

CAMP COOLAMATONG

Camp Coolamatong is SU’s campsite in Victoria, located on the Banksia Peninsula on the Gippsland Lakes.

There are two distinct camp sites that are suited to school groups – the Farm Camp and the Lake Camp. The Farm Camp provides a huge range of introductory onsite camping experiences, while the Lake Camp provides tailor made outdoor education programs designed for your group utilising the vast beauty of the Gippsland Lakes.

Each year Coolamatong offers a fantastic range of camps run by on-site staff. We are renowned for producing happy campers who depart better equipped for the challenges they face, inspired to build their personal capacity, and nurtured to understanding that their lives are valuable and important.

CAMP GEO

Camp Geo is SU’s campsite in WA, located on the idyllic Geographe Bay, near Busselton. Established in the 1970s, the 5-acre site is lined by pristine beach and turquoise ocean, making it an incredible backdrop for fun, adventure and exploration.

With dormitory style accommodation, a sports oval, a beach volleyball court, large meeting hall and camp kitchen, there are plenty of options to do as much, or as little as you please on the site.

‘Geo’ hosts a number of our School Camps, Holiday Camps and our unique Breakaway events, as well as private retreats for youth groups, churches, and other not-for-profit groups. Most notably, it is also home to our legendary sailing fleet, which can be seen in it’s full splendor, during our Summer Sailing Camp and Odessey Camp, respectively.

As many of our guests remark, Camp Geo is a special place, with a rich history of seeing children, young people and families have significant ‘God moments’ during their time onsite.
