A Chaplain’s Tale of Faith, Transformation, and Healing

A Chaplain’s Tale of Faith, Transformation, and Healing

Bee, a devoted Christian for 12 years, experienced a dramatic and transformative conversion marked by a profound encounter with God. In that pivotal moment, crying out to God led her to meet Jesus, fulfilling precisely what she needed—proof that God intimately understands our deepest needs.

Her life, once mired in brokenness and childhood trauma, took a transformative turn as she began seeing through God’s perspective. Formerly viewing her four children as inconveniences, they became her most important mission. Materialistic pursuits lost their allure as God guided her toward a more fulfilling way of living.

Bee dedicated seven years to Children’s ministry, impacting others and finding healing and unity for her own family. Following this, she attended Bible college and, after a fortuitous encounter, became a chaplain at two polar opposite schools.

In this role, Bee cherishes the diversity, navigating the ever-changing dynamics of children’s lives, growth, and challenges. She finds joy and fulfilment in being a support system for children, bridging gaps in their lives and empathising deeply due to her own past.

Bee’s traumatic childhood fueled her passion to stand in the gap for children who lack support, embodying God’s call to be childlike. Her broken past became a testimony, reaching out to others with a message of understanding and hope.

As a chaplain, Bee connects with hurting kids, breaking down barriers by sharing her experiences when needed and providing safe spaces in those moments of great need. This aspect of her chaplaincy brings immense joy and purpose as she uses her past to connect with the brokenness around her.

The beauty of Bee’s story is the reminder that God can use our past hurts to bring healing to others in need his love and hope.
