SUPA North 2025 Wrap Up
Not only is SUPA North Camp deeply rewarding for primary school-aged campers, it is also an incredible privilege for our leaders.
Normally, when we reflect on camp, we highlight a camper’s story – a young life making remarkable steps toward Jesus. But at this time, our story is about two extraordinary women who joined us as leaders.
Both came to camp with faith in God and a love for Jesus, but feeling that their connection wasn’t as deep as they longed for. Over the course of the camp, something beautiful happened. As they witnessed the joy and love of Jesus being lived out in simple, powerful ways, their hearts were stirred.
One of these ladies shared with me that she is now hungry to reconnect with a church, explore daily devotions, and even download the Bible app on her phone so she can grow in God’s Word.
What a powerful reminder that camp doesn’t just shape campers – it also refreshes, inspires and strengthens our leaders in their walk with Christ.
These two ladies were not only open to what God wanted to do in their hearts, but they also modelled servant hearted leadership in amazing ways. Every time I turned around, there they were with willing hands. Washing dishes, helping other ladies, setting up and packing down, or just beaming with joy as they loved and encouraged the campers entrusted to us.
Their humility, enthusiasm and faith in action were such a blessing.
We are truly privileged to have had them on this camp, and we look forward to welcoming them back on future camps. Their story is a testimony of how God moves in us all, camper and leader alike, when we gather in His name.
