Join us for another ‘Wildlife’ day, as we go rock-pooling and beach-combing at Point Cook Coastal Park, home to a rich diversity of marine and coastal life. We’ll see God’s creativity and glory in the beauty of the coastline and in the detail of the sea creatures, and reflect on our special role looking after God’s creation.
In the morning we’ll be beach-combing – searching the shoreline for objects such as seashells and driftwood, and also doing our bit of conservation work as we learn to identify, search for, and collect invasive crab species in the rock-pools.
We’ll be guided in these activities by the knowledge and experience of local expert volunteers. After a BYO picnic lunch at the historic homestead, we’ll have time to explore the coastal forest together! Please be advised that toilets are located onsite.
BYO: Lunch, water, garden gloves & clothing suitable for shallow water.
