Our inaugural SU Hawkesbury Fishing Camp launched in 2023 with an incredible time had by all. We are excited to announce we are back in November 2024 with school age Boys & Girls in Years 7–12.
Camping alongside the river we spend the day exploring all the nearby fishing spots led by experienced leaders with boats who will be happy to share all their secret tips to help land your first or personal best fish.
Around our meals and our campfire, we will be sharing plenty of yarns and testimonies while our leaders will also take some time to introduce you to Jesus, the great fisher of people.
You can bring your own fishing gear, but if you don’t have any we have plenty of extra fishing gear to share around.
Register early to avoid disappointment, and we look forward to another great weekend together.

Brendan Wood and Leigh Smith

Brendan and Leigh both led on the 2023 Fishing Camp and are back again with the great team of volunteers who will feed us and get us out on the water.
Brendan has been fishing on the Hawkesbury all of his life, and Leigh is a veteran of Scripture Union camps over recent decades. The team are all passionate about fishing and Jesus, which makes for a great weekend as they all serve together.
