Lacking a bit of adventure in your life, then South West Adventure camp is for you! This is a place where you are able use your exploration skills and curiosity to journey with Jesus, make friends, and have fun exploring the South West. This camp will be a space for you to safely push your comfort zone on both land and in water. We’ll be doing activities such as snorkelling, kayaking, hiking and mountain biking. So, if you like the outdoors and adventure we’d love to see you there!

Dawn House, Grace Bailey and Bianca Oliver

SWAC has a core team that consists of Dawn, Grace and Bianca. They have all been volunteers with SU for many years, serving across a variety of different ministries. They are united by their love for Jesus and sense of adventure!

Dawn is enthusiastic about discipleship, wanting to live genuinely as a follower of Jesus. She enjoys creating safe, welcoming environments where people can go deeper in their faith journey. Dawn has several years of experience leading on a diverse range of SU and non-SU programs. She is a competent and avid adventurer who loves God's creation and frequently travels internationally to go on mission trips. She also remains actively involved in her local church and community. Dawn has had 9+ years of experience in working in the education system.

Grace is patient, kind, and compassionate; she believes that everyone deserves to feel like they belong and can quickly create a caring environment where individuals can feel heard. Grace also has extensive experience with camps and young people, and she has run Breakaway Kids camps, which work in collaboration with Prison Fellowship.

Bianca is diligent, consistent and passionate about people finding a sense of belonging. She has a BSc in Marine Biology and shares her love for the ocean and outdoors with others including starting up a Young Adults Snorkelling camp with SU. She has lots of experience working with young people and serves as a kids church teacher at her local church.
