Easter Camp returns and a new Kununurra partnership

With the wet season almost in the rearview, SU ministry teams are once again raring to go in 2023.

Easter Camp was held at Riyala Campsite in Noonamah from April 7-10, and will mark the third year back after a six-year hiatus.

“Thank God for his ongoing provision and for the ongoing prayers and generosity of our supporters, which makes this camp possible,” says Ox, SU Australia’s Regional Manager for the NT and Kimberleys.

Campers will enjoy all the usual fun games and activities, plus small groups, Bible talks, worship sessions, great food and our annual trip to Litchfield.

In other exciting news Ox and a small NT team will travel to Kununurra in the eastern Kimberleys region to assist local churches deliver their annual Youth Camp over the last weekend in May.

SU’s contribution will include running games, providing Bible talks and small group resources, says Ox.

“We are looking forward to supporting the Kununurra Youth Group in this capacity. We pray that this will be just the start of our ability to support more Christian communities in the Eastern Kimberleys and beyond,” he says.

If you live in the NT, are keen to be part of this initiative, and are in Year 10 (or above), send an email to info@su.org.au for more details. Please also pray for this exciting ministry opportunity.
